it rained a bit today and really cooled down, a very welcome change.
well, i'm off to search for some sort of employment now that my internship has wrapped. ho hum, how i dread to toil behind an espresso machine or cash register. but ya gotta do what ya gotta do, as someone says. what sorts of jobs do you guys have/want?

You are so adorable! I love how you've decorated with the frames, it's pretty spectacular if I do say so myself.
ReplyDeleteI currently have a full-time summer job (I'm in University) at an engineering firm. It's not bad - a little boring but I'm paid well, so it's definitely worth it.
i like to be payed to daydream, but it's not looking likely :) i love your cardigan! this is my first time visiting your blog and i'm diggin' it. i'll be back...

ReplyDeletethat outfit is so perfect! I really want those shoes.
Right now my job is to tutor kids on reading, take photos of their activities, and other random office work. After I graduate, I want to be an elementary art teacher and sell personal art work as well!
What about you?!
being a cardigan horse... i am in LOOVE with yours! good luck with your interviews!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog via wardrobe_remix and I love it... you have a wonderful aesthetic. I'm a reporter now, but I've been a sales associate in a JoAnn's Fabrics, a tele-fundraiser for UC Berkeley (where I went to summer school one year), a sales associate in a party supplies shop, a counter girl at a smoothie/wrap place, and a sales associate/jewelry-maker/teacher for a cruddy chi-chi bead shop. And I also held a string of internships. Good luck on your job search!

p.s toxoplasmosis is a parasite cats & people can catch from raw & undercooked meat. Cats can also contract it by eating birds & rodents that are infected & contact with infected faeces. its dangerous for pregnant women as it can cause birth defects & for people with compromised immune systems. a bit of a nasty parasite really!!
Lovely blog, love your sense of fashion, love your vintage style!!
