i had a nice weekend, despite rain and flea market disappointments. on friday it rained and i stayed in and made a yummy dinner:
pesto bow tie pasta, buttered brussel sprouts, stir fried veggies and toast with olive oil and vinegar. i hated brussel sprouts as a kid but alex convinced me to give them another chance, much to my surprise they were yummy!
on saturday i biked to a flea market only to find a RAINED OUT sign, despite the fact that there was no rain all day. i was annoyed because i had gotten all out of breath biking up a big hill for nothing, so i biked back across town to a thrift store to try to make up for it, but didn't end up getting anything. at least i got my exercise on.
now it's back to the bump and grind. i have my first paper of the year due tomorrow (this one's always a struggle!), but there's lots of cool projects coming up too.
sweater: mens vintage from tokyo, dress: vintage, bag: vintage coach from flea market, shoes: vintage from etsy
oh and i've been meaning to mention, a friend of mine (rachel, above) is doing a really cool blog- she's driving cross country, from philly to LA in 9 days, and hitting as many thrift stores as she can and reviewing them. i'm really jealous and wanted to go with her, she's found some really neat stuff! check it out here!
