it's still really nice out, but i can't stop thinking about a new winter coat. ideally i'd like to find one at a thrift store for $6, but the nicer coats i've seen have all been huge. so i've been doing some internet window shopping, much of which is out of my budget... but i'm trying to just figure out what kind of coats i'm looking for, and i'm sort of all over the place. do you guys already have your winter 09 coat?

ReplyDeleteyour post has got me thinking too... i don't have a coat for winter '09 specifically, but mentally examining of my closet, i realize i own quite a few coats, so i may just layer up to stay warm if the temperature plummets again this year.

ReplyDeleteLiving in the dirty south, I can't currently justify why I bought a $500 winter coat from Japan (Innocent World!) this month, other than it is my dream coat. And I will be living in NYC next year! Coats are worth the extra $$, because you need a good mix of timelessness and uniqueness since it is such a major foundation of a winter outfit.
