sweater, skirt, heels: vintage
this weekend i made it to two flea markets that weren't rained out, and happily made just one little purchase of a wind up bear which i will share at a later date (because it looks crappy on photobooth + i'm lazy). i was happy to wear a real sweater out, i hope this perfect fall weather lasts a bit longer..

aside from that, i have been a mega lazy bones, laying around in bed since coming down with a cold on sunday. oh immune system, pull yourself together! i've been eating nothing but chicken noodle soup, tea, and orange juice. anybody have a secret cold remedy? i hear those nasal sprays are good but the thought of it makes me cringe.
nothing fancy, just from a can.

A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E!!! :o)
ReplyDeleteHeh he, the last flea market I went to, turned out to be a weird hippy drugs den :s
ReplyDeleteLove the skirt,it so much reminds me of the one that Kirsten Stewart wore on the Nylon TV video, with the Chirstopher Kane gorilla shirt.
I LOVE chicken noodle soup, this polish lady I used to know made it every time I was ill, and swore it was what made me better !

Gosh, this outfit is TOO GOOD. I don't even know where to begin with how fantastic that sweater is!! Aahh, so well put together, you.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that you have a cold! I don't have any secret remedies; I always just ride it out. That soup from a can looks mighty tasty, though!
oh god, my roommate has had the flu since friday and basically hasn't left our room since then either. she plans on staying in tomorrow too! so indirectly I know what you're going through

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderfully girly outfit, I love the proportions somehow - it suits you perfectly. And you have such beautiful feminine legs. (Odd that I would put notice to such a thing...)
ReplyDeletehope you feel better soon! The sweater has such an unusual cut and I am head over heels in love with your shoes.

my biggest cold remedy suggestion is avoid dairy at all costs! and get as much sleep as you can.
ReplyDeletei love this look.
Aww, I hope you feel better soon! Get lots of rests and drink lots of water, of course. Oh jeez, I sound like a mom.
ReplyDeleteAlways love going to flea markets and its always fun:)
ReplyDeleteOhhh this outfit reminds me of a sailor girl in the 50s or 60s. And it look so beautiful on you!!

The color of your hair is stunning! Your shoes just pop in that outfit :D
ReplyDeleteAw get better! Love the outfit, and the soup looks yummy even if it's just from a can =)
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by my blog! I love your outfit, very sailor inspired look with the strips and the white collar!
ReplyDeletei use nasal sprays everytime I catch a cold, i think they really help! but make sure you get one with salt water& natural ingredients, the others make your nose bleed!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!
in reply to your comment on my blog: the hotel was great, except for the fact that we had the smallest room:D but we paid way less than everyone else so i think that's okay:D i felt very vip-ish when I passed the queue of people who were waiting to be admitted to the rooftop bar, they didn't have to know we were just going to our room:D
Get better soon, darling!
ReplyDeleteYou have the perfect hair!
ReplyDeleteAdorable look!
ReplyDeleteI love the outfit. It's always awesome to see what a few vintage pieces thrown together can create.
ReplyDeleteTo hear that you have a cold is not nice. I don't have a secret remedy, but a colleague just told me hers – as I have the same proplem at the moment:
juice of an orange plus juice of a lemon, a little rum, honey and two cloves. Heat it up all together and rink it as hot as possible.
Gosh, could you be more adorable? I was trying to think of why I got this complete urge to brighten up my hair a few days ago, and I'm pretty sure it was because I came here and was jealous and it subconsciously stuck, heh. Keep being cute :)
ReplyDeleteour outfit is simple, casual and FAB all rolled in one. vintage never lets us girls down.
ReplyDeletecute!
ReplyDeleteand i talked about comic sans too in one of my posts!

i really like futura, avant garde (though some people consider to be overused) and baskerville old face
BUT most awesome awesome fonts cost a fortune and can be found in the files of large design companies. :-)
cute outfit, that sweater is adorable, and it looks so comfy too!
ReplyDeleteThe shoes and tights are my favourite, and your hair is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHope you can check out my blog more often because I'll defiantly keep coming back here!
