secretary chic

i've been a bit of a bum the last couple of days, as weather.com keeps telling me it's going to rain so i get all prepared and then nothing happens. it felt nice to get all dolled up and lady-like this afternoon. i am so in love with this top, i found it in a little shop in DC, hiding between generic button ups and fleece jackets. i think it's from the 40s.

blouse, skirt, purse, shoes: all vintage

today i went for drinks and then read the iliad for an absurd amont of time, and kept nodding off. also i fell asleep in the computer lab yesterday between classes, with my head on the desk. i need more sleeps! so i am off to dreamland. oh but it's thursday and the weekend's almost here!

  18. Such a gorgeous, impeccably put together outfit. The nude top & aquamarine skirt is particularly gorgeous together. I never got to the Iliad. I always thought the Odyssey was enough.
