no more turkey plz!

after a lovely holiday and rather harrowing experience on the chinatown bus (a cheap alternative to greyhound/trains, run by people who seem to thrive on chaos) i am back in philly. yesterday was incredibly mild so my ankles got some air. can't believe it's almost december, 2009 you're going too fast!

cardi: AA, stripe top: HM, red belt: vintage, grey trousers: vintage, oxfords: vintage.
i need a bangs trim pronto.

in dc i managed to hit a couple thrift stores, eat a plethora of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauces and mexican food, see the fantastic mr. fox- which was great, wes anderson steals my heart every darn time, and got to sleep in every day. oh and all that quality family time jazz. hope you guys all had pleasant vacays too!

  4. 1) You look adorable.
    2) I so so SO want to see The Fantastic Mr Fox! I sort of didn't know it was out yet. That is what having a lack of money and tv will do to you. I really hope I can see it in theaters!

  5. I haven't heard much about the Chinatown bus system... what was so harrowing about it? I've considered using it for my East Coast trip next March but maybe I'll stick to train travel.

Lovely outfit by the way, great take on menswear.

  6. oh, the chinatown bus...I've taken it too many times to care for, and I know exactly what you're saying...and I HATE that Bolt and Megabus don't run from Philly to DC! b/c you're always stuck with that freakin' system...

but anyway, your outfit is adorable...I've been obsessed with trousers like that lately, and of that length...and who doesn't like stripes?!

  9. Such a classic outfit - high waisted tailored trousers, a striped top, and a cardigan! This is my go-to uniform when I don't feel like wearing a dress.

Aah, I still have to see Fantastic Mr. Fox...I've heard absolutely nothing but good things!
