snowed in

you can just barely see me in a new dress in the mirror in the top left. i broke the zipper that night :(

this weekend celebrated the first weekend of winter break. 

appropriately enough, i went to a summer themed party on friday and then there was a huge blizzard all day saturday. i stayed inside drinking hot tea, playing mario kart and watching movies. i only left the house to get more batteries for the wii remote. it was a little bit of a bummer though because punk rock flea market was this weekend, but it was just too much of a pain to get there. i'll just have to wait till the summer one.

this is my backyard! those lumps are snow covered chairs. philadelphia is not used to this much snow!  i'm going home to dc for the holidays this week and i'll be blogging less, but a very merry december to you all!

icey blue

i've been wondering how to wear white tights without looking like a figure skater. after much deliberation i ended up with this. i couldn't decide what to wear over this dress, (i think it needs a cape or a fancy fur coat which are sadly absent from my closet) so i opted to stay inside for today's outfit pictures. jack frost is out in full force and i really need some thick wool socks or i'm sure i'm going to end up with some terrible frost bite. i'm off to check out the army navy store and see what they got.

rainy saturday

it started snowing 5 minutes after these photos were taken! okay, it was the gross half snow half rain mess but still. guess winter is official. 

i spent the rest of the day eating pancakes and huddling under the covers taking too many naps. it's so cold! i need to get a space heater.
