ahh i started posting this last night and fell asleep. oops! it's been so unseasonably pleasant and i can't help begin to feel butterflies for spring. i'm going to be very sad when it freezes over again.
i had a superb weekend, a friend's art show followed by crowded dance party and then i wore this to a lovely birthday party full of wine and cheese and cakes on saturday. and i went to trader joes yesterday, and i have to admit: i love grocery shopping. peanut butter puffins, veggie burgers, hummus, polenta! going to eat soo healthy now.
i've been wanting to take more photos- of things other than myself, haha. i took a photo class 2 years ago that really bummed me out, but i've decided that it was the lame teacher and not my fault. so i made my friend who lives in nyc buy me a diana mini when the lomo store was having a big sample sale. i won't see it until i visit him (or he comes here, ahem), but i'm psyched!

That skirt is awesome! THe length would look really awkward on me but looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteLove the Breakfast at Tiffany's reference! I just saw that movie for the first time the other day, believe it or not :) And I agree with Isabel, I love the shirt too!
ReplyDeleteyou look really adorable! agreed, i couldn't pull off that skirt but you do it well. :)

ReplyDeleteanother's treasure- you really must read the book! i loved the movie until i read the book which really is a masterpiece, the movie leaves out so much subtlety.
Oooh, I love the plaid and your red cardigan. I've been looking for the perfect one. I have a similar skirt...maybe I'll break it out soon.

I love plaid, but my real love this season is "red". I need something red for each outfit to have it completed... Why? I don´t know!

ReplyDeleteTell me about it! Blogging just totally takes over your life doesnt it. Do you know that feeling when your eyes are so tired you have to lean into your pc to see it but still you carry on with 'I must get this finished' manerism until finally your body gives up and you collapse onto the keyboard!

You look great, and I am a huge fan of your red cardigan.
ReplyDeleteIf your photography class bummed you out, I bet it's the teacher's fault. Photography is supposed to make you happy, even when you are a beginner! Yay for the mini-Diana, it's a cute camera!
