so, i mentioned that my friends from tokyo were coming to philly. we had so much fun! they are so fun and of course supa kawaii. back story: me and andrew (my roommate) met them at a party in tokyo when we did a semester abroad.
they brought us yummy japanese snacks, such as giant pocky and our fave rice/soy/peanut snackers (don't know how to say the name though!)
we took them sight seeing a little bit
cheesin' at love park
and ate way too much for brunch
i had a yummy asparagus and dill omelette
and of course we took them out and showed em how philly gets down!
so down, in fact, that andrew chipped a tooth on the dance floor, followed shortly by me getting a nose bleed. but all is well now.
we were so sad to see them go! as they ran to the bus back to new york, mika stuck this amazing thank you card in my hand:
