been feeling like getting very girly as the weather warms up. cannot get enough of pink!
may day will mark my time as a vegetarian at 4 months! it really hasn't been very hard. not that i ate a ton of meat before but, ya know, it narrows down your lunch choices. i'm exited to eat my backyard tomatoes and peppers when they grow up, but i'm also planning to get a csa, which is a share in a local organic farm. they drop off a big box of fruits, veggies, and other eatables every week(or every other week) all summer. it will make sure i eat my veggies!
hope it doesn't weird anyone out that i talk about food so much on here! it's just that i've started to think about what i eat a lot more. not like in a diet way, but in a planetary way... ya knowwwww. not that i want to preach or anything, but it's interesting to think about. and hello, i've been living with a vegan for a year so it was inevitable..
yeah yeah, bangs trimming time again already??

ReplyDeleteA-freaking-dorable. Is there anything better than candy stripes in warm weather? No, I think not.
ReplyDeleteI loooove CSAs. Besides being such an amazing value, you get to know your actual farmer. It's incredible being able to shake the hand of the person who actually planted, watered, fertilized, weeded, and harvested your food!
yes!

You look darling! Very effortlessly chic, like you just woke up looking this amazing. I love. Nice vintage little handbag to go with, too I might add.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 4-month mark of practicing a no-meat diet. May I suggest a few things? In one word: Quinoa, an lovely grain that is 18% protein, good as a morning porridge, great as a side for veggies, and wonderful in muffins. That way you're not overdosing on tofu/soy for your protein sources.
Thanks for you sweet comment on my blog by the way. xo. Bella Q
