in going through these photos, i noticed that it practically looks like summer. it's an illusion!

i'm freezing my ankles off! need some frilly white socks, stat. 

not sure what else to reveal about my life.. it's been a rather long week so far. been watching scorsese flicks, building up to seeing shutter island this weekend. 

been thinking about getting back into painting. 

been thinking about cleaning up my room. so messy. need more hangers.

been thinking about getting more sleep...

outfit post

i haven't been wearing much of interest since it snowed.. here's a pre- snow outfit. i miss walking on solid ground!

the coat is pretty sick, the shoulders feel massive on me but its all puff- no horrid shoulder pads.

so yeah just keeping busy, going home for the weekend to celebrate my parent's birthdays (fun fact: they share the same date, 11 years apart!) and do some errands. kinda bummed i'll be missing neon indian and memory tapes at making time on friday, but apparently it's the celestial year of pisces and the planets are aligned just for me.

saturday morning... 

woke up late. went to the window

luckily my favorite diner was still open! worth the cold feet for hot coffee and eggs.

sunday best

it was super cold all weekend and snowed again. it was really pretty and what not but come on, nature. got nasty salt all over my booties. today i slept in, had a nice big eggs & home fries diner breakfast and then stayed inside making cookies! 

cranberry & chocolate chip! they turned out pretty good considering my patience for baking..

i really love this dress but sadly it's just too big for me (i'm holding the sides back with my elbows). i was thinking about altering it but i know i will never get around to it. so it's now up in the shop. it's way too pretty to not get worn!
