kind of a boring outfit but what i was going for here was this look.. it's funny how mixing black and brown used to be such a faux pas. do you guys still stay away from color taboos like that?
okay so these photos are from earlier this week, it has since snowed another foot and i took the opportunity to have myself a snow day! i spent it bumming around and relaxing, which is just what i've been needing. more hot tea please!

I love mixing brown and black! However, I think the actual shade of brown makes a big difference. Richer browns tend to work mo' beddah...in my mind, at least.

ReplyDeleteColor rules are for suckers! I like to put brown with black, and then throw in some navy blue just to flout every possible outdated convention. They look so chic together, and most of the time I don't even realize I committing what some people would consider a faux pas. I say go for it!
