i feel pretty silly about this, but here i am trying to wear red for japan. hey, my hair is red everyday for japan! just kidding. i'm a bit of a japan nerd and i spent a semester abroad in tokyo which quickly became my favorite city in the world. i really want to go back again. i can't even keep up with the news lately because it's too depressing and scary. but here's hoping everything turns out okay. go japan!

  6. You look so stunning! I wore my shirt with koi on it the day after. I think it's just important to keep them in our thoughts and honor and help them any way we can.

  10. Oh cool, you did a semester abroad in Japan? Sometimes it bewilders me, how do some people visit these countries without speaking a word of their language?! I mean I'm Chinese and I'm from Hong Kong, but I couldn't survive if I went to Beijing. My parents have had this idea of sending me to Beijing to brush up on my non-existent Mandarin skills. Anyways, yes the news is quite scary and depressing, but it's also amazing to hear of the stories of such courageous and brave people!
