max dots

well well well, here i am getting sucked into the latest trend i said i'd never get into- the maxi skirt. firstly because the term maxi should only be applied to, ahem, feminine hygiene products, and secondly because at 5' 4" i don't like anything that might shrink my stems. but hey, i am a sucker for polka dots and it was kind of fun to think up amish jokes about my ankles showing (the amish probably don't allow polka dots though right?).

  1. this outfit looks so cute! now you're making me think i can pull off a maxi skirt too (being short is sort of a curse).

  2. I'm 5'4" as well but I definitely feel a few inches taller whenever I wear ankle length skirts and dresses. I can't believe you're selling this one, it looks darling on you, especially with those flats.

  3. This looks great on you! I tend to think the same but opposite. I'm almost 6 feet tall and I always think a maxi skirt would look awkward on me.

  6. That's a pretty maxi skirt! If you want to wear a maxi-skirt why not go for the midi-maxi, it's a shorter version of the maxi and allows more room to show leg if you are on the short side.
