spent my weekend in dc which is green and springy and smells amazing like fresh cut grass after a rainstorm and is totally opposite to these drab photos. did some good thrifting (hello red ferragamos that almost fit!), bought a cute lil cactus trio for my room, and went to a ~women's seder~ with some friends and our moms, it was cute and i ate way too much. now back to the grind and grime of philly.. but it's good to be home.

taking photos on my street has become something of a joke between me and my 'photographer'..
there really are quite nice areas of philadelphia.. i just don't live near them.
a little local color: south philly hates trees. apparently mostly because of falling leaves and bird droppings that land on people's cars. oh the horror! many neighborhoods cut them down and refuse to let anyone plant new ones. the trunk in these photos belongs to my street's only tree.

this blouse is the only brand new clothing i've bought this year, well besides socks. and it's kind of my new favorite, cause it's similar to that monki one on my wishlist...
