goodbye august

post 'hurricane' weather has been fantastic. i never want to come back inside! except that i suddenly came down with a cold and have been sniffling and feeling fever-y all day. eating lots of fruits and resting up, hoping i'll be out of bed sooner rather than later.. like hopefully by tomorrow! i'm impatient. and i have to go to work.

lazy days

not sure what it is about august that makes me so lazy. it's still a weird feeling to not be going ~back to school~ everything just keeps going on the same as usual. well whatever. think i need some more green plants in my room, for oxygen or something. except i keep killing them!

holy matrimony

so the weekend before last was spent at the loveliest of weddings, where none other than ada of oma vintage got hitched! it all went down in the tiny town of griswald, connecticut, which is beyond charming. i was blown away by how many stars i could see in the night sky.

my camera was acting up and wouldn't focus, plus there were a ton of other photographers going at it, so this is really just a quick peek at my pals in white dresses.. it's tough having such pretty friends.

well i am back on my bike again after a few lazy days spent at home with old friends and my cat. also i had two donuts today (fresh! amish! sofa king delicious i couldn't believe it!) which will hopefully be balanced out by a longish ride over to west philly.

i'm enjoying putting together my new home. it's on the small side but it's nice and bright and downright cosy. at least it will be, once i've finished unpacking.
