What is your favorite fact about Abe Lincoln?
Lincoln had considerable lady troubles before he settled down with Mary Todd. As a young lawyer, he stood around awkwardly at bars and taverns with his hands held behind his back--so as to bashfully hide their size. Despite his shyness, he had a healthy libido, and is said to have sought release from ladies-of-the-night. Finally, he called off the engagement with Ms. Todd once before they sealed the deal; her outgoing, firecracker qualities started to manifest as needy and compulsive.
How many countries have you lived in?
I have lived in three countries: The Land of the Rising Sun, Mer-lion Country, and these trusty United States.
What inspires your style?
From being an impressionable kid and later a more impressionable teenage monster in Tokyoyoyo, I have both nostalgia and admiration for Tokyo street fashion. I love its layering, its creativity, and its capacity for using garish items in aesthetic pleasing ways. I clumsily try to follow suit.
